About Us

Our mission is to facilitate empowerment for people with learning disabilities, their families and carers. Our Enfield centre is in an environment that welcomes and respects all cultures, creating an inclusive and open setting in which we can help our clients and their carers to reach their potential and live happy, fulfilled lives.

Radiomarathon is a centre of excellence, regarded as one of the best and most sought after providers of facilities and care for people with learning disabilities in Enfield as well as the optimal local source of support for carers.

The staff members are a team of AQA qualified professionals with years of experience in delivering exceptional services to young adults with mild to moderate learning difficulties.  The team are committed in enabling them to achieve their fullest potential through our new and exciting AQA accredited services.

THE SESSION

The session run Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.  There is a 15 minute break midway through the morning session.  There is an hour lunch break from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.  At the beginning of the morning session, attendees will be briefed of the day’s agenda including the aims of their target units for the day.

LUNCH

All lunch and refreshments, where possible, will be freshly picked straight from the garden promoting organic homegrown produce.  This will enable students to understand the cycle of a seed, to a product, to a cooked meal.  Lunch packages will be discussed and explained in the assessment stage.

TRANSPORT

Radiomarathon promotes independence as much as where possible and encourages independent travel.  Transport arrangements can be discussed upon assessment stage.

AGE GROUPS

Radiomarathon’s AQA services will be offered to those aged 18 and onwards.
